2015 Cardinal Spellman High School IPad Rollout - Freshman / Transfers

All new students need to register for iPad boot camp where you will receive your Cardinal Spellman issued iPad Air and the information you will need to begin using this device as a student at Cardinal Spellman High School. All new students are required to attend this session, which is open to all incoming freshman, and transfer students.

Students are asked to register for one of the following options:

July 30 at 1 pm

July 30 at 6 pm

August 4 at 1pm

August 4 at 6 pm

Please follow the prompts to complete the registration process. You will receive an email confirmation when the process is complete.

Parents are strongly encouraged to attend this session, which is expected to last about 75 minutes. Parents do not need to request a ticket - tickets are only necessary for student.

The school has a mandatory iPad cover policy. This policy was adopted because of the large number of cracked screens, which were an obstacle to learning and a potential danger to the student. The technology department has one mandatory cover for 2015-16, which we are able to sell to students at our educational pricing. The cost for cover is $30 (retail $49.95). Students will purchase covers when they receive their new iPad - please bring cash or check payable to Cardinal Spellman.

During the iPad boot camp workshop you will receive basic info about use of the iPad, school technology network credentials and sign the school Acceptable Use Policy.

Students should enter through the Chapel entrance and follow signs to the technology office to pickup their iPad. That will then proceed to the school cafeteria with their parent where they will participate in an introductory workshop.
